What you do in Fala
- You write like you write to a person He answers in the language you are learning, dosed to your level: everything in your own language if you are starting from nothing, everything in the new one once you are comfortable.
- Every mistake comes back in a card What you said, the correct form, your whole sentence rewritten, and the why if you ask for it.
- Situations, not exercises Got a doctor's appointment next week? Tell your teacher. He plays the part, and he does not correct you during the scene so it does not fall apart. At the end he steps back into his own role and goes through it with you.
- He remembers The mistakes you repeat come back on their own, weeks later, at the right moment. The words you have met feed short quizzes. The sentences you bookmark come first in your reviews.
- 30 languages Brazilian and European Portuguese, Spanish, English, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Greek, Hindi, Thai, Turkish, Polish and more. For languages with their own script, you choose: learn the script, or stay in Latin letters.
- Ten teachers Clara, Samir, Naomi, Aldo, Lena, David, Tomas, Amina, Nino, Mei. Each one has a way of teaching. You can switch whenever you like, and the new one picks up your history where the other left it.
What you should know. The teacher is an artificial intelligence, not a person. His corrections can be wrong. Fala is a learning aid, not a qualification. Any message can be reported from the app, in two taps.
The number of messages per day is limited, and the app always tells you where you stand. No ads. No account to create: no e-mail, no password. Your conversations stay on your phone unless you explicitly agree to share them to improve corrections. Everything can be erased from your profile, on the phone and on our servers.
